Unless the LORD builds a house,
the work of the builders is wasted.
Unless the LORD protects a city,
guarding it with sentries will do no good.
It is useless for you to work so hard
from early morning until late at night,
anxiously working for food to eat;
for God gives rest to his loved ones.
Psalm 127:1-2

Just so we are all on the same page. The final Authority in this meeting place is the God of the Jews and Christians. Some days Bible verses may be all we post. We do not believe that “all ways lead to heaven”. We do not believe that there is any other way to heaven except by accepting the gift of salvation that was accomplished through the sacrifice of Jesus. Based on the statement of Jesus, “No one can come to the father except through” Jesus. We will never argue or debate that point, but we will be blessed if we find we have been given the opportunity to share more about our faith.

We will answer reasonable questions about our faith, but we will not entertain “vain conversations” that are designed to bring more confusion than clarity.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
(Ephesians 5:6)

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
(Colossians 2:8)

And we will be the judge of what is and what is not reasonable. The measurement systems set up by this world system do not apply here except where they fully align themselves with the Holy Bible.

The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions.
(1 Timothy 1:5-7)

…, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,” for by professing it some have swerved from the faith. …
(1 Timothy 6:20-21)

There are people dying and we no longer have time for discussions that bear no fruit or to wait for the next impotent “program” to take effect before we take action. There is no time to waste.

Jesus did not tolerate compromise, even from within the halls that housed the religious leaders that had the power to put Him to death. Thinking that they might save their own positions, they did conspire and put Him to death. Since we have not yet “resisted unto blood”, we will not allow others to dilute the work accomplished by His sacrifice. We have no confidence in the “works” or opinions of those who go about seeking to make themselves appear to be “nicer than God”.

God is love, but He is also a God of justice. This is why we write. We make an effort to share the love of God and as we do so, we desire to make others aware of the fact that there will be justice meted out to those at whose hands we have suffered. Some will receive that justice here, in this life, others when they stand before God, facing an eternity. That is one thing we encourage our readers to wait for because the promises of God are assured. He will never revoke them and He is not a man that He should lie.

And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
(1 Peter 1:17-19)

In the mean time, we will encourage you to live, abundantly.
